Work-from-home adverts now illegal
SABCNews, May 09, 2007, 22:00,
“Advertisements offering certain work-from-home opportunities are now illegal. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) says this is in terms of a regulation issued by the department of trade and industry late last month.
The opportunities which may no longer be advertised include typing work, addressing envelopes and labels, filling envelopes, gathering names and addresses, and compiling data, among others. However, this does not include typing work requested by the buyer of a service, such as typing of student assignments.
Consumers can complain about advertisements of this kind through ASA. - Sapa ”
Finally, someone is doing something against those scam websites.Hope that other countries will follow their sample.

Great! somebody starts fixing things.
the big part it’s that “certain work-from-home opportunities”. But, if you read the listed things… there’s a whole missing area: internet spamming… Gathering it’s one, spamming by mails for example it’s another job.
